Coffee is a complex concoction of over a thousand ingredients. A cup of coffee purchased at a coffee shop is unlikely to be identical to the coffee brewed at home. The type of coffee bean used, how it's roasted, the quantity of grind, and how it's brewed are all factors that go into making a cup. Individual reactions to coffee or caffeine might also differ significantly.
